Generosity is one of the main practices of Buddhism. Three categories of generosity are traditionally defined; the giving of material aid, the giving of refuge from fear, and the giving of Dharma teachings. Of these three, the giving of Dharma is considered supreme, because Buddhadharma ultimately encompasses the antidote to all types of suffering.
At Saraha we aim especially to cultivate the giving of the Dharma, honestly addressing the practice and methods of the Dharma ourselves, and continuously expanding the expression of our giving. We are doing this now by creating and opening the Saraha Nyingma Buddhist Temple, collecting Dharma resources, initiating classes and conducting special events. Our next step will include developments in all these areas.
We invite you to join us, and together with us make our sincere effort to accomplish these aims successful. Please support this effort. Please donate to Saraha Nyingma Buddhist Institute.
As is always the case, our ability to accomplish our goals depends not only
on our effort and intentions, but on our circumstances and resources as
well. This is by no means idle philosophy. As a non-profit religious
organization, the Saraha Nyingma Buddhist Institute relies mainly on the
generosity of others to progress.
If you are interested, intrigued or questioning, please contact us to let us answer your questions. If your mind is already made up, and you would like to support our effort, either by cash donation, sponsorship, material offerings or volunteer work, here are some ideas for help that we could use right now:

We hope that through the key point of radiant kindness that is generosity through the Dharma, you and we both will become and always be of benefit to others.
We think Saraha's 2,600 square foot main shrine room is beautiful in every way, but, with the building its aging blue carpet, which is at the end of its rope. Please help us make a much more beautiful shrine by finding and funding the right wood floor to make it shine!
And there will also be a description.
